CTOnews.com news on November 17, data from the reporting Center of the Central Internet Information Office showed that in October 2022, the reporting Center of the Central Internet Information Office directed the national e-mail reporting departments at all levels and major website platforms to accept 14.003 million reports, down 7.8 percent from the previous month and an increase of 7.2 percent over the same period last year.

Of these, the reporting center of the Central Cyber Information Office accepted 509000 reports, down 13.4 percent from the previous month and an increase of 67.9 percent over the same period last year; 814000 reports were accepted by local online reporting departments, up 6.9 percent from the previous month and 22.9 percent from the same period last year; and 12.679 million reports were accepted by major websites nationwide, down 8.4 percent from the previous month and 8.3 percent from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that among the reports accepted by the major website platforms across the country, the major commercial website platforms accounted for 55.7%, reaching 7.06 million.
