CTOnews.com, Nov. 17, Nvidia has finally fixed a problem with abnormal GPU readings in Win11 systems. Nvidia found that the abnormal GPU reading was caused by a problem in the Desktop window Manager (DWM), which has been fixed in the newly released GeForce Game Ready WHQL certified version 526.98 driver update.

CTOnews.com learned that some Nvidia video card users reported that even if the video card was completely idle in the Win11 system, the GPU usage in the task manager was still close to 100%.

After users reported the problem, Nvidia has begun to fix the problem. Before this problem is fixed, Nvidia recommends that users turn off hardware acceleration for GPU scheduling in Windows settings.
