CTOnews.com Weather on the Way is an app that combines navigation and weather to provide weather forecasts for navigation routes. In a version update released today, the app adds support for CarPlay, which means navigation routes and estimated weather conditions can be displayed simultaneously on the car screen.

For this update, developer Piotr Knapczyk said:

Weather on the Way combines weather and navigation to give you weather forecasts along the way. The new version is now available in the App Store and is available for free download on iPhone and iPad running iOS 13 and above.

Weather on the Way provides weather forecasts on a global scale, although warnings of major weather changes are currently limited to the United States, Canada, Iceland, the European Union and Israel.

CTOnews.com learned that today's update to Weather on the Way 1.7.2, in addition to adding support for CarPlay, brings:
