Today, the China Railway Micro platform announced that on November 16, local time, a comprehensive testing train of high-speed railway developed and manufactured by China Railway carried out a comprehensive test on the line between the Yawan high-speed railway Dekaruer station and the No. 4 beam yard of the Yawan high-speed railway. The obtained indicators and parameters performed well, marking the complete success of the trial operation of the Yawan high-speed railway jointly built by China and Indonesia.

CTOnews.com learned that the Yawan high-speed railway, which connects the Indonesian capital Jakarta and the tourist city of Bandung, has a total length of 142.3 kilometers and a maximum operating speed of 350km per hour. Construction will begin in June 2018. The high-speed EMU and comprehensive testing trains of Yawan high-speed railway are led by China Railway International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., which is designed and manufactured by China Railway Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., which is one of the members of the Chinese consortium of Yawan high-speed railway. It is the first high-speed train exported in China.

The train adopts Chinese standard and is tailor-made for Yawan high-speed railway, with a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, four moving and four dragging eight cars, relying on the advanced and mature technology of Fuxing Chinese standard EMU, adapting to Indonesia's local operating environment and line conditions, and integrating Indonesian local culture to improve adaptability.

After the completion of the project, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be shortened from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes, which will greatly improve local traffic conditions and promote the development of industries along the route.
