CTOnews.com November 16 news, today, Strategy Analytics released a report that Q3 TSMC contract manufacturing revenue of more than $20 billion (about 140.8 billion yuan) in 2022, more than all other manufacturers (including Samsung) combined. All the major contract factories have achieved double-digit revenue growth.

In the third quarter of this year, TSMC had revenue of $20.23 billion (about 145.049 billion yuan). During the reporting period, TSMC shipments of 5 nm accounted for 28% of total wafer revenue, 26% of total wafer revenue, and 26% of total wafer revenue, and more advanced processes accounted for 54% of total wafer revenue.

CTOnews.com learned that Strategy Analytics pointed out in the report that the performance of all large contract factories will be flat or decline. Wafer package chips (ASP) of all major contract manufacturing companies, such as TSMC, Grid Core, United Power and SMIC, have shown double-digit growth.
