Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, Nov. 16, Microsoft is inserting a picture function into the Excel optimization cell, allowing users to move and readjust the cell that contains the picture. The new Excel feature also supports sorting and filtering of cells that contain photos and other types of content.
CTOnews.com learned that the Microsoft Roadmap website has added an entry with feature number 101534, entitled "Excel: new IMAGE Image function adds Cell Picture insertion", with the description: "Images inserted in cells no longer float on the surface, but become part of the worksheet. You can move and resize cells, sort and filter, and process pictures in Excel tables."
Currently, after Excel inserts a picture into a cell, it just hovers on the spreadsheet. If there are multiple pictures in the spreadsheet, it becomes difficult to manage. According to the roadmap, the feature will be available as soon as next month. It is important to note, however, that the Microsoft 365 roadmap only provides a rough functional description and expected launch time, and does not mean that it will be available within this specified time frame.
