CTOnews.com learned that the second generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) uses a new 1 / 2 / 2 / 3 architecture, including a very large core of 3.2GHz (based on Cortex-X3), four performance cores of 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores of 2.0GHz.

In addition, the second generation Snapdragon 8, which uses Snapdragon X70 5G modem and RF system integrated with Qualcomm 5G AI processor, is the first Snapdragon mobile platform to support 5G+5G / 4G dual cards.

Traditionally, Xiaomi will release a new generation of flagship models at the end of each year or early next year. On December 28, 2021, Xiaomi released the previous generation of flagship model Xiaomi 12 series. On July 4, 2022, Xiaomi released its new flagship Xiaomi 12s series. However, Xiaomi did not announce the specific product model this time.
