CTOnews.com November 15 news, TP-Link yesterday released Archer BE900's flagship Wi-Fi 7 router overseas, and now the official website has launched the introduction of this product.

According to reports, this router supports four-band 24 Gbps Wi-Fi 7, two 5-GHz bands ensure that more devices enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, and the new 6-GHz band provides congestion-free channels for your devices.

Unlike the traditional external antenna Wi-Fi router, the Archer BE900 uses a built-in antenna to maintain an elegant appearance. The built-in antenna with 12 × optimized positioning integrates the strong transmission effect of high gain and multi-directional coverage.

In terms of interface, Archer BE900 has dual 10G WAN / LAN ports. Officials say the combination of 10G Wi-Fi and 10G cable will lead us into a true 10G era. Archer BE900 is equipped with two 10G WAN / LAN ports (1 RJ45 port and 1 RJ45 / SFP+ combined port) to provide flexible support for fiber and LAN cable connections. There are also four 2.5G ports and one USB port.

In addition, the front panel of the router is equipped with a LED screen, which can display weather, time and other information.

On the software side, officials say that with the advent of Wi-Fi 7, TP-Link 's security system HomeShield has been updated to 3.0, adding more features and two proprietary applications-"Norton 360" and "KidShield"-to provide more comprehensive protection.

BE900 will accept pre-orders from December 31 and will ship in the first quarter of 2023. The price has not yet been announced.
