We will use the following tools

1. Microsoft tool ildasm.exe: this is a software that generates IL files from DLL, which comes with Microsoft itself; it can be found in C:\ Program Files\ Microsoft SDKs\ Windows\ v7.0A\ bin

2. Microsoft tool ilasm.exe: this is the function of regenerating IL files into DLL, which can be found in C:\ Windows\ Microsoft.NET\ Framework\ v4.0.30319.

To use ildasm.exe to convert the DLL file into an IL file

Dump the dll file as a * .il file and save it in a specified folder to get two files, Web.il and Web.res, and sometimes there are * .resource files

We can open the Web.il file, which contains the IL content generated by DLL, we can easily locate the method we want, as long as it is fixed to return true, we can modify successfully, the IL code in the method is what we want to modify, modify the IL code in the GetLicense () method, so that it always returns true.

The following IL is to return it to true; and then save the IL file.

When you have finished modifying the IL file, convert it to a DLL file, open the DOC command and enter it into the folder of * .il, and then enter the command:

C:\ windows\ microsoft.net\ framework\ v4.0.30319\ ilasm.exe / dll/resource=Web.res Web.il

1: the folder where you want to enter the IL file

2: "/ dll/" should be preceded by a space

The 3:.res file should be in front of the .il file with a space in the middle

After running the above command, we will generate a new DLL file and copy it to our site:

Complete the above steps to successfully modify the DLL file, of course, this example is only a simple modification, if you want to make more complex changes to the IL code, you need to have a good understanding of IL knowledge.

Note that the IL_0000 at the beginning of each line of the .il file is equivalent to a memory address, if the change involves adding or deleting lines, you need to pay attention to modifying the memory address, if it is not convenient for accurate calculation, you can add the address behind the modification as a whole, such as IL_333a to IL_433a.
