CTOnews.com, November 15, according to Xin Zhiyuan, a new issue of "the world's fastest 500th supercomputers" was announced at the SC22 conference held in Dallas, USA, on November 14. The new list is only fine-tuned with the top 10 in June, while the top three remain unchanged.

CTOnews.com learned that the Frontier of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) still tops the list with 1.102 EFlop / s and is the only "E-level supercomputer" in this TOP500 list. Fugaku of the Riken Computing Science Center (R-CCS) in Kobe, Japan, is still in second place this time, while LUMI, the "fastest overcalculation in Europe", also managed to retain the top three this time.

The only new machine in the top 10 is the EuroHPC / CINECA Leonardo system in Bologna, Italy, which scored 0.174 EFlop / s HPL with 1463616 cores, ranking fourth. As a result, China's two super-calculated "Shenwei Taihu Lake Light" and "Tianhe 2A" were lowered by one place to 7 and 10.

In this issue of Top500, 20.2% of machines use AMD X86 processors, and 75.8% of machines are based on Intel X86 processors, but half of the new systems and 75% of new features are based on AMD chips.

Although China has only two super-qualified TOP10 in this issue, China has 162TOP 500s, down from 173last year, but it is still 31 more than Europe and 36 more than the United States, making it the number one in the world. In terms of computing power, the United States ranked first with 43.2 percent of deployed computing power, Japan ranked second with 19.6 percent, and China ranked fourth with 10.6 percent.
