CTOnews.com, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) Elon Musk (Elon Musk) appears on SpaceX after Tesla's senior deputy, Omid Omead Afshar, left Tesla this summer because of a strange internal investigation.

Afshal's official position in Tesla is the CEO office, Musk's chief of staff. But in fact, Mr Musk has been seen as Mr Musk's chief of staff since his last senior deputy, Sam Teller, left the company in 2019.

The executive, who led the construction of Tesla's Texas superfactory, has often appeared as a middleman between Mr Musk and his direct subordinates.

CTOnews.com has reported that this summer, a report said Afshar was about to be fired by Tesla because he was suspected of ordering a "special glass" for a "secret project" that was marked as suspicious by Tesla's finance department, triggering an internal investigation by Tesla.

The reason given by Tesla for this survey is that employees use the company's resources to obtain materials for a project that may have nothing to do with Tesla.

Afshal has now left Tesla and appeared at SpaceX, another company led by Musk, according to Bloomberg.

Afshal has been appointed vice president of SpaceX in charge of the production of the company's starship Starship, according to two people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The company's official name is Space Exploration Technology.

Tesla, SpaceX, Musk and Afshal did not comment on the matter. Afshal has not even updated his LinkedIn profile, which still shows that he works in Tesla.
