This "smart electric bionic" consists of ESSA native smart electric architecture and central centralized SOA electronic and electrical architecture.

CTOnews.com has learned that Lantu Yuguang, the first flagship smart electric car equipped with intelligent electric bionics, will make its global debut in December.

Lantu Automobile said that the ESSA native intelligent electric architecture is a dual-power electric drive dedicated architecture with four major advantages such as powerful electric, intelligent driving control, extreme safety and expandability, which can meet the technical needs of the next 8-10 years. ESSA architecture is compatible with three kinds of electric power solutions: pure electric, intelligent multimode and hydrogen energy.

According to reports, Lantu ESSA architecture has high expansibility, supports the development of 2800mm-3200mm wheelbase models, including B, C, D, E-class models, and can provide users with a variety of car, SUV, MPV, cross-border products, and the common rate of platform parts is as high as 85%.

In terms of SOA electronic and electrical architecture, Lantu Automobile claims that it can effectively improve computing efficiency, achieve functional evolution through hardware expansion, and achieve efficient interconnection of global networks with the latest communication technology.

The central controller OIB, area controller VIU and network terminal T-BOX are used as the core, in which the central controller OIB integrates the four functional domains of vehicle control, power, intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit into one, and uses water cooling to control temperature.

The four area controllers VIU operate the front, rear, left and right functions of the vehicle. Each controller reserves more than 10 common types or specifications of interfaces, which can drive up to 300W actuators, providing hardware scalability.

The vehicle networking terminal T-BOX adopts the latest 5G-SA communication technology to achieve communication, high-precision positioning, vehicle networking protection and other functions.
