CTOnews.com, November 14, according to the official information of IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group of China Information and Communication Institute, Huawei has completed the outfield performance test project of 5G millimeter wave independent network, and the peak downlink rate of users placing orders in DDDSU frame structure exceeds 7.2GbpsDSUUU frame structure, the uplink peak rate of users is higher than that of 2.2Gbps.

CTOnews.com learned that in the functional test, Huawei completed the test projects such as flexible frame structure with different time slot ratios (DDDSU and DSUUU) under independent networking (SA,Stand Alone), millimeter wave downlink 4*200MHz and CA (Carrier Aggregation, carrier aggregation) in the uplink 2*200MHz band.

According to reports, in the outfield single-user throughput performance test, the test results are close to the theoretical peak. Using DDDSU frame structure, millimeter wave single user downlink peak rate is more than 7.2Gbps; using DSUUU frame structure, millimeter wave single user uplink peak rate is higher than 2.2Gbps, through technological innovation will enable the rapid development of 5.5G uplink UWB services in the future, such as machine vision, HD video return and other large uplink services.
