Three Gorges Energy pointed out that in terms of pumped storage, a number of projects have entered the national pumped storage medium-and long-term development project library, and the preliminary work of pumped storage projects in Gansu, Qinghai, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other places has been carried out in an orderly manner; in terms of electrochemical energy storage, the company has configured or wants to configure power-side electrochemical energy storage in 19 provinces, including Gansu, Henan, Jiangsu and Liaoning, totaling about 6GWh. In terms of hydrogen energy, at present, the company has invested in the construction of a 400000 kilowatt photovoltaic hydrogen production industry demonstration project in Narisong, Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The implementation of this project will help to accumulate engineering construction management, safe and stable operation experience in large-scale, modular and systematic new energy hydrogen production projects, and provide technical support for follow-up new energy hydrogen production projects. At the same time, reduce the dependence on the delivery channel of new energy projects, and reduce the carbon consumption of local and enterprises.

Data show that in the first half of 2022, the installed capacity of the three Gorges energy increased by 2.1046 million kilowatts, including 800600 kilowatts of onshore wind power and 130.40 million kilowatts of solar power.

CTOnews.com learned that three Gorges Energy said it would acquire 1.95 million kilowatts of offshore wind power resources in 2022 in Jiangsu Dafeng, Shanghai Jinshan, Tianjin, Liaoning Dalian, Hainan Dongfang and other places, of which Shanghai and Hainan offshore wind power achieved a "zero" breakthrough and are actively promoting the preliminary work of the project; 300000 kilowatt offshore wind power project in Changyi, Shandong Province and 100000 kilowatt offshore wind power project in Pingtan, Fujian are planned to be connected to the grid one after another this year.
