Quick Assist is a remote assistance application that technicians usually use to provide remote assistance to employees in an organization.

Microsoft decided to stop using Quick Assist this year and plans to launch a new version of Microsoft Store. Windows users who try to start Quick Assist on their devices will now receive a prompt that a new version is available on Microsoft Store.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft explained at the time that "new applications will enable it to fix security and other issues more quickly in the future." It's just that the administrator is not satisfied with the change. There are two main criticisms of Microsoft. First, administrative privileges are required to install the new Quick Assist, and second, it is not possible to determine whether Quick Assist is available on the user's device. The latter needs extra help to get a new version of the application on the user's device.

Microsoft released new Win10 Version 22H2 and Win11 versions to Release Preview Insider Channel this week, with new Microsoft Store Quick Assist applications added by default.

After testing the Release Preview version, the new version of Quick Assist will appear in the Win 10 take 11 version soon; however, Microsoft has not announced a specific launch date, and Windows users can manually install the Microsoft Store application at any time to access Quick Assist immediately.
