CTOnews.com, November 14, Strategy Analytics released a report today that voice phone shipments fell 12.8% in the third quarter of 2022 compared with the same period last year, and its global smartphone shipments and feature phone shipments also declined compared with the same period last year.

Despite the decline in smartphone shipments, voice transmission (the sum of Tecno, Itel and Infinix) still ranks sixth in the world at 6% of the smartphone market, the report said.

CTOnews.com learned that Strategy Analytics said that voice transmission has made great progress in the smartphone market in Central Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe, making it into the top five for the first time. It has been in the lead for two consecutive quarters in Africa and the Middle East. By country, Nigeria, India and Kenya are the top three markets for Q3 transmission in 2022.

According to the financial report, Tsinghua Holdings achieved operating income of 36.032 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2022, up 0.72% from the same period last year, while its net profit was 2.258 billion yuan, down 21.64% from the same period last year. Of this total, Tsinghua Holdings achieved operating income of 12.923 billion yuan in the third quarter, up 0.03% from the same period last year, and its net profit was 605 million yuan, down 47.42% from the same period last year.
