It is expected that the decline of a-Si panel prices will expand in the fourth quarter, falling at a rate of 0.30 US dollars per month.

LTPS: due to the continued decline in the price of LTPS mobile phone panels, the main manufacturer, Japanese display (JDI), will reduce the production of mobile phone products, especially the shipments of domestic mainstream brands, shifting production capacity from mobile phones to cars and other products, while brands will give more consideration to domestic LTPS panel manufacturers in the choice of suppliers for new projects.

Rigid AMOLED: although Samsung (SDC), the main manufacturer of rigid AMOLED panels, is stepping up its efforts to promote shipments to domestic mainstream Android brands, due to the aggressive prices of domestic flexible AMOLED panel manufacturers, there is great resistance to promotion.

Flexible AMOLED: flexible AMOLED panel market continues to oversupply, price competition is fierce, manufacturers have to radical prices for orders to fill the capacity gap, panel profitability continues to deteriorate.

CTOnews.com learned that CINNO Research forecasts that smartphone panel prices will continue to decline and expand in the absence of significant positive factors in demand, with a-Si / LTPS panel prices falling by $0.30 per month in November and December; rigid AMOLED panel prices will continue to fall by $1; and flexible AMOLED panel prices may fall by $1.50.
