CTOnews.com, November 13, according to the release of Southwest Railway, on November 9, as a piece of prefabricated T-beam, which is 32 meters long and weighs 134.3 tons, was safely and accurately installed on the piers of Luojiaohe Bridge, marking the successful erection of the first T-beam of the Guizhou section of the Syria-Bibi Railway, the project officially entered the stage of laying and erection.

CTOnews.com learned that the main line of the Guizhou section of the Syria-Bibi railway is about 37.3km long and has a design speed of 120km per hour. It is a Ⅰ-class single-line passenger and freight electrified railway of the national railway. Among them, Bijie East paving Base undertakes the task of laying 298 precast T-beams in Guizhou and 330 T-beams in Sichuan-Yunnan section. The participating units finally ensure that the construction of the project is carried out smoothly on schedule, and the laying operation is safe and orderly.

It is understood that the Guizhou section of the Syria-Bihai Railway is an important part of the Longhuang Railway and a key project of the new land-sea corridor in the west. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will improve the layout of the southwest railway network, earnestly improve the traffic conditions and investment environment along the line, and promote the development of land and resources and all-round economic and social development along the line.
