CTOnews.com November 13 news, yesterday, Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft adopted independent rapid rendezvous and docking mode, successfully docked in the space station sky and core module rear port. After the rendezvous and docking is completed, Tianzhou V will be transferred to the flight segment of the assembly.

Previously, the Mengtian experimental module of the space station completed its transposition on November 3, marking the completion of the basic configuration of the Chinese space station "T" in orbit and a key step towards the goal of building a space station.

With the completion of the basic T configuration of the space station, Tianzhou will maintain its half-yearly launch frequency and form a regular launch, Xinhua reported.

CTOnews.com has learned that China's Tianzhou cargo ships have all been launched from the Wenchang space launch site and have so far successfully launched five Tianzhou cargo ships. The Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft launched this time was loaded with materials such as consumables, propellants, and applied (test) testing devices for the three astronauts of Shenzhou 15 in orbit for six months, as well as the "Macao Student Science Popularization Satellite-1", aerospace hydrogen and oxygen fuel cells, and space wide-spectrum high-energy particle detection loads.

Earlier, the Tianzhou IV cargo spacecraft was launched into orbit at the Wenchang launch site in Hainan on May 10, 2022, delivering about 6 tons of supplies to the space station. On November 9, the Tianzhou IV cargo spacecraft, which completed its scheduled mission, was evacuated from the space station assembly.
