At present, it is the fan with the largest single unit capacity, the highest tower height, the longest blade and the largest lifting weight of mountain wind power in China.

The Fuyuan West Wind Power Project is invested by the State Power Investment Yunnan International Investment Project, with a total installed scale of 800000 kilowatts and the design and installation of 135. it is divided into three phases: the first phase (Mohong area) 300,000 kilowatts, Fuyuan West Wind Farm Phase II (Tianshui area), Fuyuan West Wind Farm Phase III (Laohong District) 400000 kilowatts, respectively located in Fuyuan County, Zhanyi District and Qilin District, Qujing City.

CTOnews.com learned that the project officially started in December 2021, the concrete pouring of the first fan foundation was completed on April 28, 2022, and the first fan was successfully hoisted on August 3. At present, the foundation concrete pouring of 120 wind turbines and the hoisting of 42 wind turbines have been completed accumulatively, and it is planned to complete the hoisting of all remaining fans by the end of the year, which is the fastest wind power project in Yunnan Province.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it is estimated that the annual online electricity will be 1.96 billion kilowatt hours, which will save about 641000 tons of standard coal every year, and reduce the annual emission of carbon dioxide by about 1.732 million tons and sulfur dioxide by about 1171.8 tons. The environmental benefits are remarkable and will contribute to building Yunnan into a strong province of green energy. In addition, the project construction period can provide 2500 to 3000 jobs, annual tax of more than 100 million yuan, will vigorously promote the local social and economic development.
