Japanese media reported that the model will be built using the new E3 platform, the time-tested TNGA-C and the pure electric architecture that supports the bZ series.

In addition to the most likely hybrids, there are rumors that Toyota will launch a hydrogen-electric hybrid in 2025, which is said to be the first mass-produced model with Toyota's hydrogen ICE engine, although it has not yet been confirmed but its credibility is not low.

Judging from the posters, the design of the new car will continue to look like the hatchback of the current model, similar to the recently released Crown Crown and Toyota bZ3, such as C headlights. It is believed that in the coming period of time, this will also become the DNA design element of many new Toyota cars.

Judging from previous revelations and certification information, the new car will be 4600*1780*1420mm in length, width and height, and will be equipped with optional 17-inch and 19-inch rims.

It has also been revealed that the new car will be equipped with a new generation of hybrid system based on 1.8L / 2.0L four-cylinder engine and a plug-in hybrid system based on 2.0L engine. Among them, there will be two models for the 1.8L hybrid version, one for the 2.0L hybrid version and one for the 2.0L plug-in version, which is not expected to be unveiled until 2023.
