CTOnews.com news on November 11, according to Tech Planet News, there are feedback from users that QQ is testing support for Wechat login function internally on a small scale.

According to reports, this function allows users to bind WeChat account to QQ. After the binding is successful, they can log in directly through Wechat account authorization and use QQ. This login method is located in the settings-security-third-party binding of QQ. The experience is similar to logging in to other third-party applications through Wechat.

CTOnews.com learned that Wechat currently supports logging in through the QQ account.

As of June 30, 2022, Wechat and WeChat had 1.299 billion monthly active users, while QQ had 569 million monthly active users, only about 44 per cent of Wechat's.
