CTOnews.com, November 11, according to CCTV news, today, the Luojiacun tunnel in the Wuyi section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway has been successfully completed, which is also the first tunnel on the Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway line.

The tunnel is located in Dangyang City, Yichang City, Hubei Province. it took 167 days to build, with a total length of 315 meters and a maximum buried depth of about 48.7 meters.

CTOnews.com learned that the new Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway is one of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway channels, passing through six provinces and cities, including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing and Sichuan, with a total length of about 2100 kilometers and a total investment of about 593 billion yuan.

It is reported that the new Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway will connect the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng economic circle, which is of great significance to the construction of the Yangtze River comprehensive transportation system and promoting the development of the Yangtze River economic belt.
