CTOnews.com November 11 news, today Softbank Corp. Group released its semi-annual report. Net revenue for the six months to the end of September was 3.18248 trillion yen (about 159.76 billion yuan), up 6.7% from a year earlier, while its mother had a net loss of 129.1 billion yen (about 6.481 billion yuan), compared with a net profit of 363.57 billion yen (about 182.51 billion yuan) in the same period last year.

Softbank Corp. made a net profit of 3.03 trillion yen in the second quarter (July-September 2022), compared with a loss of 397.94 billion yen in the same period last year.

Of this total, Softbank Corp. Vision Fund lost 1.02 trillion yen ($7.2 billion) in the second quarter, an increase of 20% over the same period last year, and a loss of 2.33 trillion yen in the previous quarter; and the investment loss of the Vision Fund was 1.38 trillion yen, with a loss of 19% over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that earlier today, Softbank Corp. Group said it had completed its plan to buy back no more than 400 billion yen of Softbank Corp. shares announced in August.
