The United States remains the world's highest revenue market for mobile games, contributing $1.81 billion, accounting for 29.4 percent of global revenue. The Japanese market ranks second, accounting for 17.6%, while China's iOS market ranks third, accounting for 17.4%.

CTOnews.com learned that in October 2022, Tencent "Arena of Valor" earned nearly $210 million in global App Store and Google Play, topping the global best-selling list of mobile games. Revenue from China's iOS market accounts for 95.1 per cent, while revenue from overseas markets accounts for 4.9 per cent.

The complete TOP10 list of the world's most popular mobile games shows that the data does not include third-party Android channels. Tencent "PUBG Mobile" (merging "Game for Peace" revenue) ranked No. 2 on the list with $130 million in revenue. Of this, 63.2 per cent of revenue comes from China's iOS market, while the US market accounts for 9 per cent.

Mihayou "Yuan Shen" mobile ranked No. 3 on the list with revenue of US $120 million, of which 39.9% came from China's iOS market, while Japan accounted for 24%.

The other two games in the top five are King "Candy Crush Saga" and "Roblox".
