During the day, Apple's market capitalization soared by $190.9 billion, the largest one-day increase in the value of a listed company in the United States.

The October inflation data released on the same day was lower than expected, with CPI rising 0.4% month-on-month and 7.7% year-on-year, boosting the stock market. The dollar suffered its biggest decline since March 2020. Apple's daily growth exceeded the $190.8 billion one-day market capitalization increase set by Amazon in February, according to overall Bloomberg data.
