CTOnews.com, Nov. 11, Apple today updated Apple Music's beta.music.apple.com website, introducing the ability to view lyrics on the web side.

When users listen to Apple Music through a browser on this beta site, they can now choose to view the lyrics by clicking on the conversation bubble in the upper right corner of the screen.

As you can see from the picture, the design of the lyrics interface mimics the lyrics of the Apple Music app on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with the lyrics scrolling along with the music on the right side of the screen. The feature is currently only available on beta web players, but after full testing, Apple may extend it to music.apple.com in the future.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple launched a web-based Apple Music player in 2019, which offers the same content as iOS and Mac. The site allows Apple Music subscribers to listen to music on any device, and anyone can view web players and listen to song clips, but full access requires a paid Apple Music subscription bundled with Apple ID.
