On the evening of November 10, Beijing time, it is reported that the latest recruitment information shows that Tesla's Texas factory has begun to recruit workers to prepare for the mass production of the long-awaited Cybertruck pickup truck.

Tesla launched the Cybertruck pickup truck as early as 2019, but so far, its production date has been postponed three times: from the end of 2021 to the end of 2022, then to early 2023, and now to mid-2023.

In recent months, Tesla has been working hard to this end, and relevant production equipment has been entering the Texas plant one after another. Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) also confirmed on a conference call last month: "final preparations are being made for the production of CyberTruck."

Today, new job postings confirm this. At present, Tesla has listed the first six recruitment messages for the production of CyberTruck pick-up trucks for the first time, including size engineer (dimensional engineer), head of manufacturing operations, senior equipment engineer, dimension engineering manager and equipment engineering manager.

Industry insiders said that for Tesla, the production of Cybertruck pickup cars is expected to face a lot of challenges. Musk has previously said that due to steel body and other features, Cybertruck will face production challenges, the need for a new manufacturing process.

To this end, Tesla has ordered the world's largest casting machine. However, as this is a new technology, it is expected that there are still some thorny problems to be solved before entering mass production.

As a new model, the Cybertruck is seen as the key to Tesla's business growth. Starting production in the middle of next year and gradually achieving full production means that Tesla will not be able to include a full quarter of Cybertruck revenue data in his earnings report until early 2024.

It also means it will take another year for hundreds of thousands of potential buyers who have paid a deposit of $100.

At present, Tesla has not announced the final pricing of the Cybertruck. In 2019, Tesla expected the initial price to be less than $40,000. But since then, with the rise in car prices, Tesla has also raised the price of the entire product line.
