CTOnews.com, November 10, according to OpenHarmony, recently, the code of the high-performance MCU general development board based on HPM6700 series launched by Shanghai Xianwei Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. has been completed and integrated into the OpenAtom OpenHarmony ("OpenHarmony") backbone. This means that Semiconductor helps open source operating system OpenHarmony to achieve new breakthroughs in industrial control, mining and other fields.

The first adaptation of the HPM6700 series is the flagship of the high-performance and high-real-time RISC-V MCU HPM6000 series of Semiconductor, providing protection for mining, industrial control, automotive electronics, Internet of things, new energy and edge computing applications. It uses a dual RISC-V core with a main frequency up to 816MHz. With the bus architecture, efficient L1 cache and local memory of Schwarzenegger, it has set a new record of DMIPS performance with MCU higher than 9000 CoreMark and more than 4500. In addition to high computing power RISC-V CPU,HPM6700 series products creatively integrate a range of high-performance peripherals, including display systems that support 2D graphics acceleration, high-speed USB, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN FD and other communication interfaces, high-speed 12-bit and high-precision 16-bit analog-to-digital converters, motion control systems for high-performance motor control and digital power supplies, and information security modules such as real-time encryption and decryption and secure startup. First, it uses open source RISC-V and open source RTOS, and owns the independent property rights of architecture and peripherals.

CTOnews.com has learned that after the first HPM6750 is formally integrated into the backbone of the OpenHarmony community, the new features of OpenHarmony are also adapted to the development kits related to HPM6750, so that developers can quickly experience the features of the first high-performance chips through OpenHarmony.
