As a critical control node project of Guangzhan high-speed railway, Guangzhu-Guangmao link line undertakes the important function of dredging Guangmao railway, and is an indispensable link line in the reconstruction and construction of Guangzhan high-speed railway. The total length of the uplink of the tie line is 4.954 km, and the total length of the downlink is 4.779 km, totaling 9.733 km, with a design speed of 80 km per hour and automatic blocking between stations. The four-electricity project of the tie line mainly includes the new Shishi Shanxi Institute and Shatou East Station, including 3 new safety lines, 7 sets of turnouts, 800 meters of reconstruction and corresponding professional construction of communication, signal, electric power, electrification and so on.

When the Guangzhu Guangmao Link is completed and opened to traffic, it will play an important role in dredging the Guangmao Railway. At that time, trains on the Guangmao line can enter the Jiangcun hub through the Guangzhu Guangmao link line, providing an important guarantee for further speeding up the construction of the Guangzhan high-speed railway.
