Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Today, I would like to talk to you about some of my recent views on PPT (the following is a personal point of view, and if it doesn't agree with you, it's your right).

In the PPT circle I come into contact with on a daily basis, most designs are in a relatively templated state. Such as flattening, IOS, micro-stereo, black gold and many other styles have been solidified, as if the XX style should look like this.

Most of the excellent works give me the impression that it is supposed to be so standardized and lacks a sense of surprise.

Perhaps because of the solidification of thinking, I also feel that my design ability has been stagnant for a long time, with little progress.

Until not long ago, I saw @ official account: a foreign scene PPT design case sorted out by self-discipline. The works in it gave me a great visual impact, as if it opened a key to a new world.

Design works such as scene design will integrate the elements of picture and text into a specific scene, breaking the sense of separation between pictures and text in the traditional sense, giving people a real and novel feeling.

As a result, I have a strong interest in this kind of scene design. In fact, the above pure static design is already very good-looking, if we add animation to the scene design, what kind of experience will it be?

As it happens, I recall the work of the Romanian designer-Cosmin Capitanu, which I saw not long ago, his home page: https://dribbble.com/ Radium

So I reviewed the works on his home page in the past two days.

After reading it, I just want to say one word: this TM is called design!

With admiration for the great god

So I copied two pages with PPT:

PPT copying works (so badly compressed)

PPT copy works (compressed so seriously) do you think it's not bad? Both works are produced by pure PPT (version with smooth switching).

Next, I will briefly introduce the production method behind it.

Scene one

PPT copying effect shows static page design

This dynamic effect mainly includes An and B page types:

Page A: overall display

Page B: highlight one by one

First of all, let's take a look at page A, first arrange the picture and text, and notice that the background is a silver gray gradient (with a more realistic texture):

Then fix the position of the picture with several rectangles of the same size:

Note that the small cards should be placed behind the table to form a spatial occlusion that can enhance the sense of hierarchy. At the same time, increase the fuzzy value of the card shadow to make it more integrated with the background:

Finally, just fill in the picture:

Image filling method

Scene 1: is it easy to finish the draft on side A? then let's take a look at the production of page B:

Face B is an extension of A, that is, enlarge a picture separately and add a soft edge effect:

So the production is finished:

Scenario 1: it is easier to add dynamic effects to the finished draft of side B, as long as you add a smooth switch between faces An and B.

Scene two

PPT copying effect shows static page design. It is also composed of An and B static pages:

Compared with scene 1, its environment is a little more complex, a three-dimensional space consisting of two translucent glass walls, ceilings and floors:

After dividing the space, we paste the texture image into it and add foreground decoration (coffee table) to get the following results:

Pay attention to one small detail: the picture on the left side of the glass wall is slightly brighter and more three-dimensional.

At this point, the overall environment is completed, we can use the glass wall in front of us as a curtain, and the following main content information can be laid out here.

First of all, at the bottom are three spliced pictures:

Then add the character's PNG material (the character's hands span two background images, which makes it more hierarchical):

Finally, add text (interspersed with characters):

Scene 2: the A side completes the draft at this point, and the A page is finished. Although there are a little more processes, they all belong to the basic operation.

The operation of side B is even easier, as long as the environment is preserved and the elements added above are replaced with the following information:

Scene 2: the B-side finish draft adds animation effects. The animation here also uses a smooth switch. The only thing worth mentioning is the animation in which the small circle in the upper right corner spreads to the whole wall at the beginning:

It actually makes use of a smooth switching effect from cropping part to global of the same background image. You can download the source file and take a look at it.

The above is the way to disassemble these two dynamic works. Have you learned it? Finally, leave a question for everyone to think about. Do you think the following effect can be achieved with PPT? (welcome to interact in the message area)

As can be seen from Cosmin Capitanu works, the above production methods are actually the same as the tools and functions we use in daily PPT design, but why are the final visual effects so different?

In fact, what restricts us has never been the software operation, but the deeply solidified design thinking.

We might as well be bold, put aside some inherent design thinking, and learn more from some cutting-edge design works in his field, which may bring a little fresh blood to the PPT industry.
