CTOnews.com November 10 news, TSMC today released the 2022 October camp revenue report. Consolidated revenue in October was about NT $210.266 billion (about 47.941 billion yuan), up 1.0 per cent from the previous month and 56.3 per cent from the same period last year.

TSMC's cumulative revenue from January to October 2022 was about 1.85 trillion New Taiwan dollars (about 421.8 billion yuan), an increase of 44.0 percent over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that in the third quarter of this year, TSMC had revenues of $20.23 billion (about 145.049 billion yuan), a gross profit margin of 60.4% and a net operating margin of 50.6%. During the reporting period, TSMC shipments of 5 nm accounted for 28% of total wafer revenue, 26% of total wafer revenue, and 26% of total wafer revenue, and more advanced processes accounted for 54% of total wafer revenue.

TSMC's market share in smartphone AP contract manufacturing will reach an all-time high of about 85 per cent in 2022, according to the latest data from market research firm Strategy Analytics.
