CTOnews.com, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) Acer released the SpatialLabs version of the Predator Helios 300 game in May this year, and officials say the laptop can achieve a 3D gaming experience without wearing 3D glasses.

According to PC Watch, the laptop will go on sale in Japan in November and the actual price is expected to be around 640,000 yen (about 31808 yuan).

CTOnews.com learned that the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition is equipped with a 12-generation Core i9 processor, GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, 32GB DDR5-4800 memory, a dual-fan design, a fifth-generation AeroBlade 3D fan, liquid metal cooling paste and Acer CoolBoost technology.

According to reports, this notebook uses SpatialLabs eye tracking solution, combined with 3D stereoscopic display technology and real-time rendering technology to create. The notebook features a 15.6-inch UHD panel and a cylindrical lens with a liquid crystal biconvex lens, an innovative display module that allows players to switch between 2D and 3D imaging.

Acer explained that SpatialLabs TrueGame is a new application that brings 3D technology into the game world, allowing players to experience and enjoy the games they love. This is because game developers consider three levels when designing games: developers construct the game world in 3D space, and the depth of field of each scene and the distance of objects are designed. SpatialLabs further uses this known information to present 3D stereoscopic effects.

Acer initially announced that the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition (PH315-55s) would be listed in North America at the beginning of the fourth quarter, starting at $3399.99 (about 22915.93 yuan).
