CTOnews.com November 9 news, according to Taiwan's Economic Daily, today, PC brand manufacturer Asustek announced the group revenue figures for October this year.

Data show that due to the poor market conditions of PC and graphics cards, Asustek's monthly revenue both declined compared with the same period last year. CTOnews.com learned that Asustek will hold a legal presentation tomorrow (November 10) to release financial data for the third quarter of this year and release its outlook for the fourth quarter and 2023.

According to financial data, Asustek earned NT $40.318 billion (about 9.152 billion yuan) in October this year, down 32.6% from a month earlier and 10.4% from a year earlier. Revenue in the first ten months of this year totaled NT $450.434 billion (about 102.249 billion yuan), up 5.2% from a year earlier.

Taiwan media pointed out that despite the poor market conditions of the PC industry this year, Asustek has adopted an expansion strategy against the trend, resulting in relatively high inventories in the industry, with inventories as high as NT $206.1 billion (about 46.785 billion yuan) by the end of the second quarter. The market is concerned about whether inventory levels have declined in the third quarter. Currently, Asustek has set a target of reducing inventory to NT $150 billion (about 34.05 billion yuan) by the end of the year.
