The hot skid test was carried out by the Yawan high-speed rail EMU, which arrived in Indonesia on September 1, and this is also the first time that the EMU has been unveiled on the Yawan high-speed railway line.

The thermal sliding test of catenary refers to the accurate detection of the pantograph relationship between catenary and pantograph and the parameters such as the voltage of current collection network by testing the taxiing of train pantograph when the railway catenary is electrified, to ensure that the power supply equipment of high-speed railway meets the conditions of joint adjustment and joint test.

The Yawan high-speed railway EMU is led by China Railway International Co., Ltd., which belongs to the National Railway Group, and is designed and manufactured by China Railway Sifang Co., Ltd., which is the first high-speed train exported in China. It adopts Chinese standard with a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, relies on the advanced and mature technology of Fuxing Chinese standard EMU, adapts to Indonesia's local operating environment and line conditions, integrates Indonesian local culture, and carries out adaptive improvement to fully meet the operation needs of Yawan high-speed railway.

In this hot slip test, CRRC Sifang dispatched technicians formed an on-site service team to participate in the whole process, focusing on the inspection and preparation of relevant key systems and equipment of EMU, as well as test status marking and control, and so on, to ensure the safe operation of the train and the smooth development of the test.

The Yawan high-speed railway, which connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the fourth largest city, is a landmark project of the "Belt and Road Initiative" construction and practical cooperation between China and Indonesia. It is also the first overseas construction project of China's high-speed railway with a full-system, all-element and full-industry chain, with a design speed of 350km / h.

After the completion of the project, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be shortened from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes, which will greatly improve local traffic conditions and promote the development of industries along the route.
