According to the China Economic Network, Zhang Yong said that Ali's growth benefits from the opportunities of the times and China's big market, and the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy will certainly become a strong driving force for the country's economic growth. "Alibaba will always take root in the real economy, actively participate in the construction of a community with a shared future in cyberspace, make good use of digital technology to help small and medium-sized enterprises, and accelerate industrial change."

In Zhang Yong's view, the development of digital economy in the past two decades has experienced three historical stages from "digital circulation" to "digital logistics" and then to "digital computing". All three are deeply rooted in the real economy. "the agricultural era depends on water conservancy, the industrial age depends on electricity, and the digital age depends on computing. Computing is becoming an indispensable universal capability, and the real era of cloud computing is coming."

CTOnews.com learned that at last year's World Internet Conference, Zhang Yong announced Alibaba's two major social responsibility strategies-- ESG (environment, society, corporate governance) and promoting common prosperity. This year Zhang Yong once again expressed his understanding of the social responsibility of the platform. In his view, the best way for Ali as a platform enterprise to create social value is to help more industries, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, share digital dividends and create more employment opportunities in the process of the integration of the digital economy and the real economy.
