CTOnews.com, November 8 (Xinhua)-- Intel today released a new Intel NUC 13 Extreme suite (code name Raptor Canyon) and Intel NUC 13 Extreme computing components, creating Intel's most powerful NUC computer to date.

According to reports, the NUC 13 Extreme is equipped with an unlocked Intel Core desktop processor of the 13th generation and supports a brand new 3-slot 12-inch (about 304.8 mm) graphics card, bringing higher performance for game enthusiasts and content creators.

Intel says the NUC 13 Extreme mini computer has an optimized heat dissipation design, extraordinary performance and features never seen before. The redesigned chassis optimizes airflow, not only maintaining the iconic compact shape and footprint of the NUC mini computer, but also ensuring that users reduce noise and control airflow during intense gaming, content creation, and other high-intensity workloads.

Equipped with the 13th generation Intel i9 desktop processor, the modular Intel NUC 13 Extreme mini-computer achieves incredible performance. The processor has up to 8 performance cores, 16 energy efficiency cores and 32 threads, and supports a high frequency of up to 5.8 GHz.

The NUC 13 Extreme mini computer has all the additional features and connectivity that gamers and content creators need, including:

Supports up to 64GB dual-channel DDR5-5600 MHz SODIMM memory.

CTOnews.com has learned that the Intel NUC 13 Extreme mini computer will be the first to launch in China, and plans to launch it to a wider range of users in the fourth quarter of 2022 and enter more markets in early 2023. Intel NUC 13 Extreme mini computer kits cost between $1179 and $1549 (about 11184 yuan), and Intel NUC 13 Extreme computing components cost between $760 and $1100 (about 7942 yuan).
