CTOnews.com November 8 news, software updates usually introduce new features, or help improve the performance of the device, fix bug Bug, and so on. But the recent firmware push by Samsung for the Galaxy Watch4 watches has caused some devices to break down seriously.

According to Sammobile, the new firmware update R8xxXXU1GVI3 caused Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic devices to become bricked or paralyzed. The affected users said that once they installed the update and turned off the device, they would not be able to turn on the watch again.

This means that the problem cannot be resolved through additional software updates unless users can keep their devices powered on until the fix arrives.

The scope of the problem is not clear. Fortunately, Samsung has stopped pushing firmware and plans to release additional updates soon.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung said in a statement, "it is known that a limited number of Galaxy Watch4 series models cannot be turned on after the recent firmware (GVI3) update. We have stopped the update and will release new software soon. Galaxy Watch4 series consumers with this problem are advised to go to the nearest Samsung service center or call the contact center."

If you encounter this problem with your Samsung Galaxy Watch4 or Watch4 Classic, you can try to contact Samsung customer support to replace the device. If the update is not already installed, do not upgrade it again.
