CTOnews.com, Nov. 8, according to thepaper.cn, Comac today released its annual report on global market forecasts (2022-2041) at the China Air Show.

Comac expects global air passenger turnover to grow at an average annual rate of 3.9% over the next two decades, and delivery of 42428 jets of all types, with a total value of about $6.4 trillion. The delivery volume of new freighter and passenger-to-cargo aircraft is 2991. In the Chinese market, Comac expects to have 10007 passenger aircraft by 2041, including 6896 single-aisle jetliners, 2151 dual-aisle jets and 960 regional jets. China's aviation market will become the world's largest single aviation market, leading the future growth of the global aviation market.

Comac expects 9284 aircraft to be delivered to the Chinese market over the next 20 years. Of these, 6288 single-aisle jetliners, accounting for nearly 70 percent of the total delivery, 79.3 percent of the single-aisle jetliners fleet are medium-sized single-aisle jetliners; 2038 dual-aisle jetliners, accounting for 20 percent of the total delivery volume; and the rest are regional jets, which will be delivered within 20 years.

According to previous CTOnews.com reports, today, the domestic C919 made its debut at the Zhuhai Air Show, showing a series of movements such as high elevation take-off and 45-degree hovering maneuver.

On September 29, 2022, the Civil Aviation Administration of China officially issued the C919 aircraft model certificate to the Commercial aircraft of China Co., Ltd. the first C919 aircraft is expected to be delivered to China Eastern Airlines in December this year at a unit price of 650 million yuan. According to Comac data, C919 has received 815 confirmed / intended orders from 28 customers, including 34 foreign orders with a total order value of more than 500 billion yuan.
