CTOnews.com, Nov. 8, according to Apple's system status page, the company is updating iOS 16 to fix problems related to its advertising framework SKAdNetwork. Apple said the problem began on November 3, but did not provide other details.

Apple said: "there is a problem affecting the SKAdNetwork of iOS 16.1 users, and we are trying to resolve this problem quickly in software updates."

SKAdNetwork enables advertisers to measure advertising success by attributing application installation to specific advertising campaigns. In other words, it allows advertisers to know how successful ads are in getting users to download apps from App Store. IOS 16.1 released SKAdNetwork 4.0 two weeks ago, providing advertisers with more performance insight, increased support for online advertising, and other improvements.

Earlier, CTOnews.com reported that Apple is preparing an update for iOS 16.1.1, hoping to solve the problem of random disconnection of Wi-Fi on bug and an iPhone. IOS 16.2 is also being tested and is expected to be officially released in December.
