CTOnews.com, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) Samsung has found new commercial customers for its rugged Galaxy mobile devices. Samsung announced today that Samsung France has been selected as the partner of the consortium co-sponsored by Airbus and Capgemini. As a result of the partnership, Samsung said it would work closely with Airbus to equip about 400000 employees with Galaxy durable devices.

The Galaxy durable device includes a Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro smartphone and a Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablet. The Xcover 6 Pro was released this year and is one of the easiest phones in the world to repair. Galaxy Tab Active 3, on the other hand, is a bit old, with its debut in 2020. It is speculated that Airbus chose the Tab Active 3 over the newer Tab Active 4 Pro tablet to save money.

Selling 400000 mobile devices at once is a considerable achievement. It is hard for small smartphone makers to reach that number in the consumer market, but Samsung has just sold nearly 500000 durable devices through this new business partnership. This may encourage Samsung to continue to design new durable devices in the future.

CTOnews.com has learned that Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active 3 are IP68 dustproof and waterproof and comply with MIL-STD-810H standards. They are highly repairable, and both devices support removable batteries, allowing business users to hot-plug and unplug batteries to keep mobile devices running without wasting time on overlong charging.
