According to the White Paper, the added value of China's industrial Internet industry will exceed 4 trillion yuan in 2021 and is expected to reach 4.45 trillion in 2022. The total scale of added value of industrial Internet industry consists of the scale of added value of direct industry and the scale of added value of penetrating industry. In 2021, the overall development trend of China's industrial Internet is stable and good, with the scale of industrial added value reaching 4.1 trillion yuan, with a nominal growth rate of 14.53%, which is higher than the growth rate of GDP, accounting for 3.58% of GDP. It is estimated that the added value of the industrial Internet industry will reach 4.45 trillion yuan in 2022, accounting for 3.64% of GDP, which will become a key driving force for stable economic growth.

It is estimated that in 2021, the total added value of the four direct industries of platform, network, data and security will reach 1.17 trillion yuan, with a nominal growth rate of 16.07%. In terms of the scale of added value, in 2021, the added value scale of industrial Internet platform, network, data, and security industries has all broken through the 100 billion yuan mark, of which the added value scale of the platform industry has reached 39%, and the proportion of the network industry has reached 33%. In terms of growth rate, the nominal growth rate of industrial Internet platform, security, network and data industry is all above 10%, and the overall growth rate is good, of which the growth rate of platform and security industry is 23.49% and 17.28% respectively.

CTOnews.com learned that the "White Paper" said that the industrial Internet has accelerated its infiltration into the real economy, covering 45 major categories of the national economy, giving full play to its enabling effect in energy, medical, petrochemical, metallurgical and other industries, forming a development pattern of integration between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. It is estimated that in 2021, the added value of China's industrial Internet penetration industry will be 2.93 trillion yuan, with a nominal growth rate of 13.94%. It is estimated that the added value of industrial Internet penetration industry will reach 3.16 trillion in 2022.

In terms of industrial Internet direct industry, it is estimated that among the 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China in 2021, the five provinces (cities) with higher scale of direct industrial added value driven by industrial Internet are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Beijing, Zhejiang and Sichuan, respectively. The scale of industrial added value reached 189.686 billion yuan, 145.128 billion yuan, 99.646 billion yuan, 98.892 billion yuan and 732.99 billion yuan respectively. In terms of industrial Internet penetration into the industry, the five provinces (cities) with a higher scale of industrial added value driven by the industrial Internet are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang and Henan, respectively. the scale of industrial added value reached 328.05 billion yuan, 313.652 billion yuan, 214.812 billion yuan, 197.114 billion yuan and 1514.47 billion yuan respectively.
