According to reports, BAIC and Hyundai Automobile Group have reached a series of cooperation consensus and jointly injected 6 billion capital, while promising to provide all the talent and technical support needed for the future development of Beijing Hyundai.

In terms of product system construction, CTOnews.com learned that Beijing Hyundai said that it would accelerate the introduction of new products and top technologies of Hyundai Group, fully hybrid fuel vehicles and introduce new pure electric brands and new models by 2025. At the same time, all new products are equipped with OTA technology and realize the intelligence of all products.

In terms of product matrix, Beijing Hyundai will build a hybrid product matrix of one MPV model, two cars and three SUV models. Beijing Hyundai said it will gradually shift the focus of its product system from fuel vehicles to new energy vehicles, fully applying 48V light hybrid and full hybrid to its cars and SUV. At the same time, by introducing Hyundai's new generation of TMED hybrid technology, the fuel consumption of different products can be reduced by 15% and 20%. At present, Tusheng L hybrid uses this technology, in addition, it also carries Hyundai Automotive's first ASC active transmission control technology in the world.

In the field of electric power, Hyundai Motor has a pure electric platform Emury GMP, which can realize flexible product research and development across models and levels. Based on this platform, Beijing Hyundai will launch its own EV model in 2023, and in the next 2-3 years, it will introduce 4-5 pure electric models, and strive to sell 200000 electric vehicles annually.

Based on the development of remote download OTA technology, Hyundai announced that by 2025, all models will be converted to "software-centric cars" development strategy. Beijing Hyundai will also start from the second half of 2023, the newly listed products will be equipped with OTA technology, and the full range of products OTA will be realized by 2025.
