According to a post on Reddit, someone successfully ran the more than a decade-old graphics card on the Windows 10 operating system.

A member of the LinusTechTips community on Reddit managed to get a prototype Larrabee card from a friend. The BIOS version of the card is 1.0.0.0102, dated February 8, 2010, after Intel sentenced Larrabee to death.

More surprisingly, the post said the Larrabee card was "removed from the image processor connected to the CAT scanner", meaning the card was later used in image processing products.

As you can see from the video, the graphics card does not come with a Windows 10 driver, but it can still be used as a basic graphics adapter. GPU-Z recognized the video card as an Intel GPU and read its device ID (8086 2240-8086 2240), but did not recognize its model number.

CTOnews.com learned that the "Larrabee" display core is another independent display core of Intel after Intel 740. the R & D team and development concept are completely different from Intel's integrated display core. It was originally planned to launch as a consumer GPU product in 2010 at the latest, but due to many "ticket skips", lower-than-expected research and development progress, poor graphics performance, high power consumption and other factors, Intel finally announced in May 2010 that it would cancel the release of the relevant graphics card, and there was no follow-up news on the "Larrabee" research project.
