CTOnews.com November 6 news, the 5th China International Import Expo (Expo) was held in Shanghai on November 5- 10,2022. Ford Motor unveiled its all-electric pickup truck F-150 Lightning and hardcore off-road SUV Ford Bronco in China yesterday.

CTOnews.com understands that Ford China said that Ford plans to achieve carbon neutrality in its global business by 2050 and is accelerating the pace of electrification transformation worldwide, investing $50 billion to achieve 2 million electric vehicle capacity by the end of 2026.

Among them, pure electric pickup F-150 Lightning supports real-time interconnection and OTA air upgrade of the whole vehicle, with front spare box and 12-inch digital screen. Currently, orders for more than 200,000 vehicles have been placed in the North American market.

In terms of performance, the F-150 Lightning has a maximum power of 563 hp and an instantaneous peak torque of 1050 Nm, capable of achieving a maximum drag capacity of 4.5 tons. With an extended battery pack, the F-150 Lightning accelerates 0-96 km/h in just 4 seconds.

At the same time, Ford also brought a four-door version of Ford Bronco Badlands to the Expo. This model is based on a high-strength steel frame hard-core non-load-bearing chassis with independent front suspension. The hard-core off-road four-wheel drive system is standard throughout the series, enabling 4H/ 4L two-speed time-sharing four-wheel drive and switching between 2H/4H during driving. Cumulative orders for the model have exceeded 120,000 since it was launched in North America in 2021.

In addition, Ford Motor also exhibited the electric running SUV Ford Mustang Mach-E sold in the Chinese market, the new generation Ford F-150 Raptor, the new Ford Explorer and Lincoln Navigator One.
