This indicates that the test section of the Yawan high-speed railway has the conditions for the on-line operation of the EMU. The four electricity project of Yawan high-speed railway is designed in accordance with Chinese technical standards, all using Chinese equipment.

According to reports, Indonesia's Yawan high-speed railway, which connects Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, and Bandung, the fourth largest city, is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in June 2023. It is the first time that China's high-speed railway has landed overseas with a full-system, all-element and full-industry chain.

The high-speed EMU and comprehensive testing trains of Yawan high-speed railway are led by China Railway International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., which is designed and manufactured by China Railway Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., which is one of the members of the Chinese consortium of Yawan high-speed railway. It is the first high-speed train exported in China.

The train adopts Chinese standard and is tailor-made for Yawan high-speed railway, with a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, four moving and four dragging eight cars, relying on the advanced and mature technology of Fuxing Chinese standard EMU, adapting to Indonesia's local operating environment and line conditions, and integrating Indonesian local culture to improve adaptability.

CTOnews.com learned that the Yawan high-speed railway, which connects the Indonesian capital Jakarta and the tourist city of Bandung, is 142km long and has a maximum design speed of 350km per hour. The full line uses Chinese technology and Chinese standards, and will become the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and Southeast Asia when completed.
