After Apple canceled the signing of iOS 16.0.3 about a week after releasing iOS and iPadOS 16.1 to the public earlier this week, Apple also removed the verification channel for iOS and iPadOS 15.7 after the launch of iOS and iPadOS 15.7.1 on Friday. This also means that users can no longer downgrade or upgrade to that version using Finder or iTunes.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple usually shuts down the verification of the old version of the iOS system after the release of the new version of the system to encourage users to keep the operating system updated.

The official version of Apple iOS 15.7.1 / iPadOS 15.7.1 was released at the end of October. IOS 15.7.1 is a minor update that Apple only says includes important security fixes.

Version 15.7 was released in mid-September, and in addition to fixing security issues with contacts, maps, Safari, Safari extensions, shortcuts, and WebKit, iOS 15.7 and iPadOS 15.7 updates also address several kernel vulnerabilities.
