CTOnews.com, Nov. 4, according to the latest rumors, Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S23 series of phones in the first week of February 2023, and all models are expected to use the same chipset worldwide this year. Qualcomm's latest earnings call confirms that these rumors will be true.

On Qualcomm's latest earnings call, Qualcomm Chief Financial Officer Akash Palkhiwala confirmed expectations of strong performance in the second half of the March quarter (first quarter) of 2023, which may be in line with sales of Samsung's Galaxy S23 series phones in the first few months. He also confirmed that Qualcomm has shifted from 75 per cent of the Galaxy S22 series to a global share-meaning that Qualcomm's chipset will apply to all models of the Galaxy S23 series.

"so, from a March point of view, you are right that the benefits of Samsung's new phone will be reflected in the second half of the March quarter. therefore, it will appear at the end of the quarter, but this will be an advantage, and our share will rise from 75% of GS22 to GS23's global share."

Three Samsung Galaxy S23 phones (S23, S23 + and S23 Ultra) have all appeared on the Geekbench website, using the so-called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm, confirmed his multi-year partnership with Samsung, which will bring Snapdragon chips to all high-end Samsung Galaxy phones around the world.

A report last month still showed that although Samsung MX (Mobile)'s internal Exynos chip was disappointing, it did not rule out the possibility of the Galaxy S23 series with Exynos chip.

CTOnews.com learned that the 2022 Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit will be held from November 14 to 17 this year, and flagship chips such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 are expected to be released.
