Original title: "PPT knotty problems No. 3, save enough 5 unpopular knowledge points to take away in a wave!" "

Often hear people joke: familiar with Win switch, good at Word, PPT, Excel and other software installation and uninstall, proficient.

But you may have encountered that after installing two versions of Office at the same time, either the higher version is not available, or the lower version can not be found, and you are not even proficient in installation and uninstallation.

When doing PPT, insert a text box where the text can be different and partially obscured, but you don't know which step has gone wrong.

Obviously and others insert the same picture, when his PPT is shown, the acne on the picture is so vivid, but his picture looks like high myopia, pasted into a piece.

See here, if your blood pressure has begun to rise, then be sure to check this article, one day, you will come back to find the answer!

Next, let's go to the text. Although the knowledge is small, it is not recommended to skip it.

01. Many times, we need to split the multi-page PPT file into a page and a PPT. I have taught a way to use the release function of version 2013 to split it quickly and well:

Want to improve design efficiency? You need to build your own layout library.

Although many friends know that this is the fastest and most effective way, when they really need to split, they are hesitant to see if they can do it with plug-ins or other software.

I've been thinking about it, and everyone should be worried about these two points:

1. I am worried that my current version has been activated, and installing a lower version of 2013 will overwrite the current version, making it impossible to use the higher version of Office.

two。 I'm worried that I won't be able to use version 2013 after installation, and I don't want to spend more money on this "release" feature.

In fact, the second question is too much for everyone to worry about. Office can be used even if it is not activated, but there will be some functional restrictions.

The release function of version 2013, which we need, is not restricted, even if the software is not activated:

As shown in the figure above, version 2013, which I currently install, shows that the activation failed, but the release function is not affected.

So, if you also need to split PPT, just find a version 2013 installation from the Internet and split it.

Worried about having to spend money, we went on to solve another problem: install the high version and then install the lower version, and what if the high version can't be opened.

First of all, we need to note that multiple different versions of Office can coexist, and if you install the lower version after the higher version, the two versions will exist at the same time and both can be used.

It is just important to note that the default open mode of PPT may be automatically replaced with a lower version and cannot be set by the default open mode of the system background.

For example: I first installed and activated version 365 on my computer, and then installed version 2013 in order to use the release function.

At this time, although version 2013 is not active, it is still active, and both versions are on my computer.

It's just that when I double-click the PPT file to open it, the default is to open version 2013, but when I right-click on the file to select the opening method, I can't open it with version 365th.

Version 2013 is rarely used except for testing and release. Suppose I need to change the default program of the PPT file back to version 365. what should I do?

Just open the control panel and click uninstall the program:

Find the 365 program, right-click on it, and click change:

Then select Quick repair:

After the repair is completed, double-click the PPT file to open it, and the default open program becomes version 365.

If you need to open it later with another version, such as version 2013, you can find PowerPoint2013 in the start menu bar and drag the file into the window of version 2013.

You see, from now on, if you still need to split PPT, you don't have to look around for tools, right?

02. When we do PPT, we inevitably need to insert super-long or ultra-wide picture material to achieve some special demonstration effects.

But you may not know that all new PPT files and inserted images are automatically compressed, but small images look less obvious after being compressed.

In order to give you an intuitive feeling, I have found a super-long picture here and used it as a demonstration.

After I select the picture, right-click to view the image properties. If you look at the resolution of the picture, you can see that this is a very long picture:

Now, I drag this picture into PPT and zoom in to the same width of the page. The effect is as follows:

As you can see, the picture is automatically compressed so obviously that the pictures and words inside can hardly be seen clearly.

The solution is to turn on the PowerPoint option, check "do not compress images in files" in the advanced options settings, and select high fidelity as the default resolution.

After setting up, you will find that the picture you just inserted is still blurred.

This is because the image has been compressed, the process is irreversible, and it is impossible to make the blurred image in PPT clear again.

You can only reinsert the long image when uncompressed is checked:

As you can see, the picture is still that picture, but at this time the picture and text are very clear, showing the original picture that has not been compressed.

It should be noted that the default resolution in the PowerPoint option has been high-fidelity since it has been set to high-fidelity, and you do not need to modify it again after you create a new PPT.

However, the option of "do not compress the images in the file" needs to be checked actively every time a new file is created, otherwise every new PPT will be unchecked by default, that is, it will be compressed by default.

So, if someone asks you later why the quality of the picture doesn't look as high as the original image, you can check here to see if you forgot to check the box before you did it.

03. The 0 of the chart axis is missing. Usually, the axis scale of the bar chart or combination chart that we insert starts from 0.

But sometimes you receive other people's files and open them only to find that the zero in the axis is missing:

What is even weirder is that even if we change the maximum or minimum values of the axis, or change the axis units, it will not work, and 0 will never come out:

This is because the number format of the axis has been changed to a custom format, so 0 is displayed as-

If you need to restore 0, just select the axis and change the number category from custom to regular:

Similarly, if you need the axis to be displayed as a percentage, simply change the number category to the percentage, and you can customize the number of decimal places:

Well, have you noticed this knowledge before?

04. Vertical text display is not complete this is a very magical phenomenon, although I know how to solve it, but I do not know the cause of this situation, maybe it is Microsoft BUG.

If one day you find that the vertical text in PPT seems to be partially obscured by something, like this:

Doesn't it look good at first glance? And it's just done with a text box with a shadow.

At this time, whether it is adjusting the automatic line wrapping of the text box, the margin of the text box, or adjusting the alignment, the right side of the text cannot be displayed, as if it had disappeared into thin air.

In fact, there are strict restrictions if you want to reproduce the text effect shown above.

First, you need to turn on the perspective option for the shape:

As long as you cancel the perspective, the text will be displayed properly:

Second, when perspective is turned on, you cannot check "keep the text flat". If it is checked, the text will also be displayed completely:

Third, the text needs to be filled with a solid color:

Once changed to a gradient fill, this state of obscured text does not exist:

Fourth, the outline of the text must be a wireless bar, and if there are lines, the text will not be obscured:

You see, as long as one of the above four items is different, the text will not be obscured.

But this BUG is still encountered by us, isn't it amazing?

If you rely on Baidu or Google to find the answer to this question, do you think you can find it?

05. The font has changed after exporting the picture with the plug-in. We mentioned in the previous issue that because of the font version, exporting the picture with iSlide may cause garbled, and you need to download other versions of the font and reinstall it.

Recently, however, we have encountered a new situation: we have installed a font, download from the Internet or receive someone else's PPT file to open, the font display is normal, but when you export the picture with the plug-in, the font becomes Song style.

Take the following resume PPT as an example:

When opened, the text in PPT appears normally, and the font used is boldface.

However, when you export the current page as a picture with the iSlide plug-in, the source font in the resume changes to Song style:

Similarly, using the stamping layer function of the small stubborn briefing, the font of the image has also been changed:

According to theory, I have installed Siyuan boldface on my computer, and it can be displayed normally, and this should not happen in the exported picture.

Later, I pushed back the reason and found that this problem is related to the font version mentioned in the previous issue, but it doesn't have much to do with it.

It has something to do with the font version, because the PPT boldface misled me and made me think it was the Siyuan boldface version I had installed, so it was displayed normally.

In fact, the Siyuan boldface version used in this file is different from my existing version, strictly speaking, it uses a font that is not available on my computer, so the font is replaced with the default Song typeface when the image is exported with a plug-in.

Then since it is the boldface version of Siyuan that is not available on my computer, why can it display normally?

On the other hand, the PPT file must have checked the embedded font, but it is not fully embedded, so it can be displayed normally but not exported properly.

Turn on the option to verify it, and sure enough:

Therefore, I said that it had little to do with the font version, because even if it was changed to other very useful fonts, it would still display normally and could not be exported properly, but I was deceived by Siyuan boldface.

If you find a problem, how to solve it?

Uninstall your own source boldbody as in the previous issue, and re-find the source blackbody version used to install this file again.

That must be unrealistic, God knows what version of the current document is used, there are so many boldface versions on the Internet, maybe it was changed by the author himself.

If you want the font effect to remain unchanged, the most efficient solution is to select an alternate font in the start tab-Edit-replace.

Replace the source boldface in the PPT file with the boldface installed on your computer:

After the replacement is complete, use the plug-in to export as an image, and the font on your resume will be normal:

At this point, all of today's five PPT problems have been introduced.
