At today's Huawei developer conference, Yu Chengdong said that Huawei will build a "Hongmeng world" based on five scenarios and innovative technologies, and this is the first time that Huawei has put forward the concept of "Hongmeng world".

Yu Chengdong said that Hongmeng was officially launched in 2019; Huawei launched a new brand Hongmeng Zhaopin for smart hardware ecological partners in 2020; and in 2021, HarmonyOS 2 was fully applied to smartphones and other terminal devices, making it the fastest-growing intelligent terminal operating system in history.

In 2022, Hongmeng 3 goes further and is often new around five major scenes. Hongmeng ecology continues to evolve, taking another solid step forward.

Huawei said it will build Hongmeng pedestal through eight leading technologies such as distributed technology, AI, atomized services and graphics rendering, with 30000+API as a "brick" and full-link self-development kit as Hongmeng tool to work with developers to build Hongmeng world.

According to reports, Hongmeng system, as an "ecological base", has more than 320 million users. On a global scale, HMS Core has also achieved good coverage. Huawei has launched services such as petal map and petal search for the missing parts of GMS.

It is reported that HarmonyOS supports Huawei's "1x 8" smart terminal equipment. So far, the main devices of Huawei "1x8" have supported HarmonyOS. For example, with the help of HarmonyOS, Hongmeng has realized the cooperation of mobile phone, tablet and PC, bringing the super terminal experience.

Yu Chengdong pointed out that on top of HarmonyOS, Hongmeng Zhaopin and OpenHarmony, Huawei built Huawei mobile service core competence HMS Core, providing the most powerful full-scene mobile service capability base to date.
